Central Mix Plants
Orrville Trucking has made a significant investment in central mix plants. The plants allow us to provide our customers with the highest and most consistent quality ready mix possible.
Load - n- Go
OTG has installed this wash down system at both our Orrville and Wooster plants. This allows drivers to wash down after loading without getting out of their trucks.
No Charge Hoppers
OTG's fleet of mixers do not have charge hoppers. This allows us to load cleaner and faster than our competitors.
Why does this matter?
The combination of these three technologies allows Orrville Trucking to load and get out of the yard at least 15 minutes faster than any other ready mix producer.
Orders
From the moment we answer your call, Orrville Trucking is using technology to serve you better. Our phone calls are recorded to help eliminate mistakes. The orders are typed into our computer dispatch system and queued for delivery. All of our delivery units are GPS tracked so that we know the location of our trucks at all times. Delivery
Dump Truck Delivery of Concrete
With the addition of our central mix plants in Wooster, we are now able to deliver concrete with dump trucks. Please talk to our sales staff if this would benefit you.
Transparent Delivery: We Send You a Text Message When the Load Leaves the Yard
When your load leaves the yard, our dispatch system automatically sends a text informing you that your load is on the way. This serves to help you prepare for your delivery and saves you time.
Just How Big is a Concrete Mixer?
Our fleet of mixers are about 12 feet tall and just over 8 feet wide. A fully loaded mixer weighs about 72,000 lbs.
How many chutes do you carry?
Our fleet of mixers all carry the 2 permanently attached chutes and 3 additional chutes. This gives us about 15 feet of reach. We cannot bring extra chutes as the added weight will cause the chutes to break off the trucks.
