Important Update Regarding Form 1095 Under the Affordable Care Act
Under the Affordable Care Act (ACA), employers are required to report information about the health coverage offered to employees on either Form 1095-B or Form 1095-C. Although employees are not penalized for not having coverage, employers must still send this form to the IRS.
Recent Legislative Changes
Due to two bills recently signed into law, your employer is no longer required to send you a copy of Form 1095. However, you still have the right to request one.
